Since I have a very broad taste in music (what I like depends more on the song than on the genre), I made playlists on Youtube to match the music styles of my different roleplay characters, so that I can listen to music that suits the character I am writing from ^^.

That's a smart idea! I do something similar, I sometimes go on 8tracks when I need certain inspiration for a character and their point of view.
