Star Cecil is an extremely rare song that's pretty much impossible to get a hold of.

Well, Coheed isn't actually dead, the Monstar virus has just completely taken over his body at this point, right? 'Dead' can mean different things.

The first part was said BY Claudio. I remember seeing this at Coheed and Cambria before.

Star Cecil is actually the rarest "confirmed" song from shabutie. It was reported to be played in PA in 99' but no one has heard it since but the lucky few. Its suppose to be about a miner finding this rare rock called star cecil. He then goes on an emotional battle with himself to either mine it or leave this once in a lifetime rcok where it is for many more people to enjoy..its suppose to be a real tear jerker.

As for Coheed and Cambria's death, Im aware of that statement but claudio may very well mean their death as in they are know longer who Claudio has come to know them. They are now just lifeless pawns used by willhelm ryan. At the end of issue two they plan on what it seems to me like taking over the mnid of Coheed with the monstar virus and send him off to go kill mariah. The real Coheed wouldnt do that...which means he is just a lifeless pawn. Which would make Coheed Dead to Claudio. there are hints to his prescence in the new album as in "keeping the blade". coheed being usually refered to as "blade" due to his powers. Also reading the lyrics to final cut make it seem like its coming from Coheed's POV and him finally "finally" dying...he speaks of how much he failed and how he was like a pawn for the wrong side. Claudio sanchez doesnt keep seinging on "iro-bot will never die" for no reason, you know?

Yes but there are three IRO-bots and then the virus in Claudio. The Virus can never die as long as it is passed on to each generation of the family. And since their children have it, what is to say that Claudio won't pass it down to his children?

From what I can guess is that when Cambria triggers the virus in Coheed, the Monster kills Cambria. Then Coheed dies, he is either murdered or he kills himself for what he has done.
At the end of SSTB, they and three of their children are dead.

Well, once he is the MONSTAR he is no longer Coheed. He is pretty much a lifeless killing machine. And keep this in mind...Once Coheed turns into the Monstar the stars of sirius cool down and the keywork falls apart.

Do you guys have any ideas where in SSTB of it hinting off for the keywork to be falling apart..?

I cant find it...maybe its an extremely slow porcess and it starts in the concept side (willing well series) of the new album.

Well you see, no where does it say in the comic that THEY have it...any of the children. Mayo just told Coheed they need to take precautions cause they MAY have the sinstar. So they kill off the children. for all we know none of the children had the mutated version of the MONSTAR.

I stopped trying to figure out the new album will the novel comes out. It's too confusing to figure out.
Expecially when it deals with events that have happened, are and will happen with the writers point of view.

yes it does...but that just seems liek a conversation between mariah and Willhelm...

As for the new album. its quite easy actually, once you know of the characters and what not.
Writers prespective basically is...there is this guy who is writing the bag online adventures of Coheed and Cambria (the concept as we know of it thus far) well it goes into HIS lfe and you see what happens to him on a day to day basis. Pretty much you find this man is depressing and turns out to be mental when he creates this imaginary 10 speed bicycle in the subconcious of his mind. this bike tells him to destroy the record and whatnot....and the writers outside influences turn into characters in the concept. He vents off in his story, he sees something he hates in his real life he may feel like killing someone off in the concept.

The album kind of deals with Writer's own life and his involvement with the characters. Which is actually really cool.

The third verse in Welcome Home almost seems like it's the character Claudio talking to the writer Claudio.
