Also, wtf is up with the packaging? I haven't bought the album, I heard it streamed on AOL so I wasn't aware of the packaging until I saw it today. Just a ******** little piece of cardboard, thin as a sampler sleeve? Talk about a waste of your hard-earned dollars!

That would be the "stripped" edition. It is the least expensive and comes with, well, the least. If you cared at all you might have gone on searching and found the deluxe edition, or the vinyl.

And this CD is amazing, I'm sorry you don't see it.

Also, just so people don't get pissed at me, I have liked them since IKSSE:3, and bought SSTB later. I like them both, I like them all.

I'm liking the new album a bit more than GA1 and think it has some awesome awesome songs, but I still like SSTB and can go back and listen to it beginning to end all the time. Go figure.

(I also first got into Co&Ca with IKSSE and then got SSTB).

i think i just might be the newest fan here...8/
i started liking them a hellova lot this year with GA1...
then, i bought GA1, later on i bought In Keeping, and Then SSTB...

now, as i am proud to say, i am a hardcore fan... biggrin
owning near everything they've made... biggrin
coheed-wise at least...
still haven't gotten those Dontpassthefence Shabutie downloads...8/
i need to do that soon...

and @ Electric Lizard: im sorry you hate this new album so much
i will say i dont like it nearly as much as In Keeping, but it's still a great album, deffinetly surpassing SSTB...imo
the band itself has grown up so much from the first album...
going from a pretty much unknown band, to one of the most well known band in teh Alt/Prog rock genre...

and as FMS said, that's the stripped version...
which is kinda crappy, but you get the music...
if you looked a bit better, maybe at merchnow or any other merch online store, you most likely would've found teh deluxe and vinyl version...8/

and this is a place for optimistic talk...
please don't bring us down with your dislike...8/

I have the deluxe edition. (Preorder yeahhh!)
I think it's amazing, but IKSOSE:3 will always be my favorite.
& I hate Best Buy, even though I buy a lot of stuff there...
There's always an employee standing at the end of the isle staring at me like he expects me to take 304850298435 CDs off the shelf and stuff them into my pockets.

Although I've found that listening to GA1 on a long car ride (like, 9 hours) IS NOT FUN.
I had to go on a 9 hour school bus trip thing and yeah... GA1 requires too much concentration.

I heard Welcome Home 2 years ago, and immediately loved 'em. I got their other albums from my brother, and listened to all of them in one day, back to back.
