I wonder how many people actually understand what the "Coheed & Cambria" albums actually say when they listen to them.

xp

I don't think anyone does right away, but that's half the fun; figuring out the lyrics.

"I hope you die right now when you drink my Cherry Coke" - Once Upon Your Dead Body

"Nobody knows butt chew. Oooh ooh ooh ooh... Nobody knows butt chew" - Tenspeed

"A wolf in sheeps' clothing. ******** apple of doom!" - Welcome Home

I'm still shocked from when I found out that "Lets ******** out the weasel's hole!" wasn't another one of these....

it's "barking apple of doom" talk2hand

also..."Should the iron negro, hungry"

Rofl...I was gonna point that one out. That's the best one by far.

I would have included the "Iron negro hungy" bit, but it doesn't really fall under the same catagory as misheard lyrics. Just something that sounds weird if you cut out the rest of the line.

Anywhozles.

This will probably be my last post here on Gaia. I'm making a move from Florida to North Dakota (polar ******** oposites). With working two jobs, school and my music, I won't have any time for interweb chatz.

Peace out, my fellow children of the fence :]
*obligatory post in a thread dedicated to one of my favourite bands*

WELL DATZ A REEL SHOKAR!
Speaking of misheard Coheed lyrics, here's my personal favorite:

Does the chorus of "The Suffering" really end with "I may be a fat girl, but I'm not coming in?"

biggrin
I think Good Apollo 1 is my favourite overall album from them, as there isn't one song on it that I don't like (though hearing Welcome Home in Rock Band all the time has made it possibly my least favourite on the album). However, In Keeping Secrets... is a fantastic album as well. I'm not as big of a fan of SSTB as most Coheed fans, but there are some gems on there. No World For Tomorrow has some great songs as well (Mother Superior being my favourite on it).
