Modest Mouse is touring again in August. Too bad that they're not touring anywhere close to where I live.

modest mouse good stuff... i live in seattle they used to play alot more shows here but then they got all big... one song i didnt know about till recently was "edit the sad parts" its on interestate 8. or at least thats the only place i can find it in my collection anyways.... your thoughts

hmm didnt really finish what i was sayiing... anyways most of the songs on interstate 8 were recorded again for uh building nothing out of somthing why didnt they record edit the sad parts i thought it was good...

I have to bump this thread. I love Modest Mouse with all my heart, and I was listening to Bury Me With It today, and I was like "HOLY CRAP this is THE BEST!"

...Yeah. =) Anyway, so I love Modest Mouse. My favorite song has to be A Different City or Tiny Cities Made of Ashes (though I'm not too fond of the chorus.)

The Fruit that Ate Itself has perhaps some of the greatest lyrics ever. Isaac Brock is easily the best songwriter in recent memory.

Aww, lucky! I have so many bands I'd love to see live, but I really don't have the time. Plus no friends to go with (damn them.) It also depends if my mom wants to go, because I'm still 14 (and can't exactly drive. >_> wink

Do they play A Different City live? That would make my year if I got to hear it live.
