How do you buy music?

I don't pay for digital files. The only exception would be if it is a preorder setup where if you pay for the download, you'll get a physical copy later on. When I do buy physical copies, it's usually tapes that I buy from the artist at a live show, or from an online distributor. I'll occasionally buy a vinyl copy if it's a really great album.



I just preordered the new Emeralds LP yesterday, and probably going to pick up a copy of Swans' new album when I see them next week. Also plan to buy a good handful of tapes from the Kevin Greenspon show tomorrow, he's bringing his entire label's distro with him.
