I've never really listend to any of The Cure's goth stuff... stressed
The only to song that come to mind for me is "Love Song" and "Friday..."(Or something like that)

Try their album Pornography. My favorite is "One Hundred Years".

Off of Pornography my favorite songs are probably A Strange Day and Cold (they go well together since one comes after the other). I can't stand Siamese Twins, that song is so deppressing. I like Disintegration more than Pornography just because it has so many classics like Love Song, Pictures of You, Lullaby, and Fascination Street.

I really did not like AFI's Hanging Garden cover.
Them compared to the Cure kind of ruined it for me.
Just like Green Day's cover of John Lennon's 'Working Class Hero'. gonk

Anyways, my favorite goth bands would include Rubicon, The Bolshoi, 1919, Christian Death, Alien Sex Fiend, Xmal Deuschland, the Cranes, Nick Cave, Love and Rockets, Bauhaus, The Banshees, Cinema Strange, black tape for a blue girl, and admitably, Switchblade Symphony.

But of course I have many more.

Strangely enough, I like both the alternate versions of Hanging Garden and Working Class Hero. =P

You can't always compare to the original. It just builds up for disappointment.

Its not that I don't like it because its a great song, its just so depressing most of the time I just don't want to listen because I can identify with it almost more than any other song...Damn you Robert Smith and your empathetic ways. I love the Cure, listening to Cold right now.
