So I recently discovered this ol' post-punk group; having quite the shitload of a hard time finding their stuff though! D:
But anyway, anyone else here heard of Crime and the City Solution? Apparently had former members of Birthday Party, and compared to Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds, though in some ways, they remind me of Echo & the Bunnymen too.

Nope, they're more like nu/alt-metal. Goth rock has very little relation to metal, if at all.
Isn't their name spelled Kittie?

Good movie. German title is Der Himmel über Berlin.

Kittie?

Not in the slightest.

Arg, this is frustrating. Are there anymore Darkwave bands that people know of that arn't listed on the front page?

Hmm... Sara Noxx? She's kinda EBM-y at times, I think, but that's sorta like Blutengel too. xp Not that I'm entirely familiar with her works.

Maybe Paralysed Age, and Carfax Abbey.
I dunno about Blind Faith & Envy ... more synthpop with some EBM elements. sweatdrop sweatdrop Not entirely sure with 'em.

Hope that was a little helpful. ^^;

I posted a list for Amythe a couple pages back of ethereal/darkwave stuff
Wow, those are pretty damn good suggestions.
I had my friend listen to Cinema Strange the other day, apparently he's scared of Lucas Lanthier's voice. I don't really see how he finds it scary but he can't stand hearing it so I blare Sadist Sagitarius as loud as I can in fornt of him. Anyone else find his vocals creepy?

Oh, and ShadowWolf, I was trying to think of something about your sig and realized you can get some of your zombieness back, you just need a Grunny. I've been trying to figure out how to get one of those forever. @.@ Would totally stick that thing on my head.

It's a good movie. Lots of Nick Cave music in it. Plus his performance is great. I wasn't crazy about Crime and The City Solution, though.
His vocals? Creepy?

No, not at all. neutral

O.o I know, I think he was just trying to find an excuse to not like Third Gen., he kind of has it out for anything past 1994 though even that is pushing it for him. I don't think Lucas could ever actually scare me, I was watching Greensward Grey (Gottik Treffen Festival) at school one time and a couple of girls said he was cute.
