Hey so I tried downloading Nick Jonas & The Administration and I don't like MP4 format so no go. Has anyone listened to it yet? I'm dying to hear. emo

I'm about to download that.

Tell me how it goes. I need it.

I listened to a few songs from it this morning and thought it was kind of blah. It feels to me like he's straining too hard to make a "serious" album-- "Olive & An Arrow" sounds like his attempt to do an Elvis Costello circa King Of America song, and at the start of "Conspiracy Theory" he lets out a shout that sounds scarily like Axl Rose. But the net effect isn't particularly exciting.

Damn. I mean, I know I'll probably like it anyways just because I like him, but still. I was hoping that he could make an album without trying too hard to sound grown up. He needs to realize that he's still only 17.

Also, I've noticed he has a thing for Elvis Costello so I was expecting that.
