From First To Last Thread

I don't know why, I just can't get excited about FFTL anymore. sad I still like the music...my tastes don't change. I can't just NOT LIKE something I used to.

Maybe it's just lack of new stuff.

the lack of FFTL has made me stride over to other things.
I still love them, and they're still my favourite band.
But I'm just listening more to other things right now.
But according to Travis's bulletin they should be coming out with something soon.

I have listen to From First To Last from years now. They are one of my favorite bands. But without a doubt, I can easily say that I think Sonny Moore's solo music is by far better than what I have heard from From First To Last. The band, to me, pales in comparison to Sonny's solo work.

Derek has completed 6 songs already, and i think he plays on 11 tracks total, so we are over the half way mark for drums and soon Manning will be busting out the dragontap on bass and Matt and myself will try to use way too many pedals on guitar(lol for studio ppl) and then we record vocals!
If any of you caught us on tour then you kinda know how the vocals will be..
Matt, me (travis) and Manning will be doing all the vocals, and there's this certain way we all come together and it sounds so huge and all of us have like these crazy spastic screaming parts sometimes (even mr. good!) haha!!
This record is going to come across sounding loud, fun, heartfelt and full of excitement..Dereks drum parts are nuts, and we have songs that CRUSH and songs that everyone can sing along to, there is just alot of everything crammed into this mother!
The plan is to finish tracking the record which should be roughly a few more weeks and then pick a song to release mad early with a video and start touring this winter in support of an early '08 release of the new fftl...
we havent totally decided what the tour is going to be, we have a bunch of options but when we know more about all this ill deffinitely let all of you know!

We will also be updating our new website with pictures from the studio and new videos of some random nonsense and us playing in the studio to hold everyone over until we are finished with this process!
