Hanging with Travis? It was just after a show in the city, and the band came out to hang out in the lobby. Fun stuff.
I listened to some FFTL for the first time in MONTHS yesterday! 4laugh

Sometimes I forget how much I like them...I'm just never in the mood to listen to them anymore, and after a while Sonny's voice starts getting annoying. sad

I definitely don't hate Sonny. I think he's a very entertaining sweet guy with a passion for music. But I don't think he's a great singer either.

As much as I like Sonny as a person (from what little I know), I think musically the band is probably a bit better off without him.

Have they released anything new since the last time I was here? (Last I heard they played two new songs live and you could find them on Youtube in pretty poor quality.)

Yeah, they played two new songs live at Bamboozle a million years ago, but the quality is such crap I wouldn't even bother, too be honest.
Well I watched the videos a while back, but...eh. Is that the latest update we've had? I've been out of the loop for so long. o_x;
Basically >>;
Well.
The new record should be out next year?
January or something
and I think the DVD will be out like, in September or soemthing.
I forget =/

Based in Los Angeles (by way of Florida), From First to Last formed in 2002 with guitarists Travis Richter and Matt Good. With a rotating lineup early on, the post-hardcore/screamo outfit released the EP Aesthetic on New York-based Four Leaf Recordings in June 2003 before signing with Epitaph by the end of the year. After the departure of their original singer, Phillip Reardon, 15-year-old Sonny Moore joined on as lead vocalist during the recording of the band's debut full-length. Written in two weeks, the group was rounded out on the album -- 2004's Dear Diary, My Teen Angst Has a Bodycount -- with drummer Derek Bloom and bassist Jon Weisberger. Tour dates with Story of the Year, Bad Religion, Halifax, and Emanuel, among many others, followed before work began on their 2006 follow-up. They parted ways with Weisberger shortly before entering the studio, so producer Ross Robinson (Glassjaw, Slipknot) called upon friend Wes Borland (of Limp Bizkit and Bigdumbface fame) to fill in for the guys on bass (he later also played some shows with them). The more mature and ambitious Heroine was issued in March 2006 to positive reviews, and the band supported its entry into the Top 40 on the road with Fall Out Boy, the All-American Rejects, and Hawthorne Heights. From First to Last jumped up to the majors soon after, inking a deal with Capitol that April. Though momentum continued to build, the ride to the top was not without its bumps. In particular, Moore struggled with vocal problems that ultimately resulted in mild surgery and From First to Last being forced to drop off various shows and festivals, including the 2006 Warped Tour and a fall support run with Atreyu. As work began on new material, Moore parted ways with the group in early 2007 to concentrate on solo work, and guitarist Matt Good took over lead vocal duties. Around the same time, From First to Last's deal with Capitol also fizzled. But the guys (now with new bassist Matt Manning permanently on board) were determined and pressed on with plans to record and release their next album themselves. ~ Corey Apar, All Music Guide

Sadly, there hasnt been much updates from the guys since Sonny left.
Just concert dates and such.

@Fever_few: You've posted this once already, please stop spamming.
sad Well that stinks. I guess it's understandable...there's only so much you can say about recording an album short of telling you everything about every song and whatnot...but it's still a bit disappointing.

We're going to just have to wait till the albums done and a single is released i guess.
Sonny's voice gave FFTL edge.
He has an amazing voice.
