If you're into synthpop and that s**t, you def should try them.
I suggest these songs if you want to get into them (yeah, their songtitles are weird):

Angel Haze is straight garbage. Her flow and lyricism are corny. Werkin Girls and On the Edge are the only quality tracks from her.

1. Azealia Banks - Broke With Expensive Taste
2. Arca - Xen
3. FKA Twigs LP1
4. SOPHIE - Lemonade (Does this count? Her entire soundcloud stream is AMAZING)

2014 was alright.

Honestly I've been down with all these lists so far. Especially happy to see my girl FKA twigs getting some love.
She had one of the best concerts of the year. Bested only by Porter Robinson's Worlds Tour. But the pictures I got of her definitely made it worthwhile.

Her verses in Bastille's Weapon are great, and can't rap be corny? It's her way to be different and tell her history at least she doesn't attack people, but if that's your opinion... sweatdrop

Her bars are corny as hell.

Right now your voice is a weapon
Wake up to stars in the sky
Watch light revolve with your mind
Watch all the storms rising
And put all your palms in the sky
No more falling to pressure
No more failing acceptance
Throw all your hells towards the heavens
Cuz your voice is a weapon

I feel like I'm listening to a black pastor in 1963 in Montegomery, Alabama trying to rally me to support the Civil Rights movement. Corny.

Also, you're acting like Azealia's beefing affects her music. She's really unique and the only people I can see as competition for her are Princess Nokia, Njenna Redd Foxxx, and Noname Gypsy. Nas repped her music for a reason.
I'd say give her album a chance, but you jumped right onto her aggression so I don't think you'd be open-minded enough to do so.

I think Angel's album is great and really gives a message unlike some other rappers just talking about sex and drugs and s**t, though I can't really talk since I'm not really into rap.
Ps: I already heard Azealia's album and I don't like it at all, I guess everyone has different tastes

Lmao, well, I can't change your garbage taste. rolleyes

EDIT: LMAO WAIT WHAT. Broke with Expensive Taste is literally the most eclectic rap albums of the year.

I honestly doubt you heard it. You can't listen to that album and find nothing you like.

Taste is subjective, I wouldn't call anyone's taste garbage. Not even those that listen exclusively to country (even though I think it's the worst genre of music).
While I love Broke With Expensive Taste I can understand why people don't like it. I think that those who don't enjoy it are definitely missing out on a work of real art and I would strongly suggest a focused relisten for them. So Dancer I'd say listen to it, I'm even gonna provide a link here for your listening enjoyment.
I can also appreciate those who don't appreciate Angel Haze's bars because I think that you're right camuses. Her lines are incredibly corny but by doing that it offers some type of nostalgic quality for me as if she fit into the 80s positive rap movement where it was about empowerment and love for one another and identity of the black community. While I was never apart of that community and will never be I love to see people stand together and I believe the black community needs it now quite badly with all the murders that are going around currently.
I hope both of you can at least appreciate that people are appreciating music rather than trying to destroy it even though you don't agree with each other's tastes.
