Of course they only choose the kids who act like brats. They have scouted out people but passed them over for the show because they wouldn't be entertaining enough (in other words, bratty).

If I wanted half of the stuff that they want on this ridiculous show, my dad would have an aneurism, seriously. And if by some miracle I did get what I wanted, if I whined about how it wasn't the exact one I wanted after all the hard work they went through to get it, I'd be slapped upside the head.

Sure, they may have scouted for that show...but who really wants to watch a bunch of whiny rich kids whine about how hard they have it that their party isn't perfect. Boohoo, huh?

That show isnt decent beacuse if a teenage girl sees that show, she will assume that she needs to have a party like that!!
My sweet sixteen was awsome, NOT like that
but I had a BBQ beach party at my house, and alot of people came over, we had a water fight, then stayed up roasting marshmellows.
Was hella. biggrin
     
Dedicating songs, Evenings together.
Sitting in the grass, Sipping Kool-Aid.
Sneaking out, Staying up Late.
Going to partys, Drinking Mikes Hard Lemonaid!

The only reason i watch it is to make fun of the kids.
Also, turning is considered coming-of-age, like a quincenera. It's not considered "just another birthday".

Hey, for my sweet sixteen, all I wanted was a german chocolate cake and a family gathering at my place.

It's just another Birthday. I see no point in wasting 600 dollars getting a freakin pony to make a grand entrance! I swear, sometimes I think that MTV is just a channel for people who take things for granted/ are greedy!


i TOTALLY AGREE w/ YOU and u know wat i LIKE to watch the shown cause it's so HILARIOUS to watch them get all pissy about something that goes wrong like the dress seems ugly to them and they spent like 1000 dollars on it lol and they hate it lol !!! rofl rofl rofl rofl rofl rofl
