I don't know what Gaia was trying to do, but they failed...hard. The only thing they succeeded in doing is pissing off thousands of users.

Ive been reading through the response to this feature in this forum and I can plainly see the feel is bad. Hardly anyone seems to like this thing, and personally I come to gaia, this great and extravagant virtual world to get away from shows like the Hills, Shot at love, celebrity gossip and paris hilton, Tomcat...s**t I dont care about and would live better without. Gaia was my one place I could go where I didnt have to worry about crap like that invading my life, I could just come here, dress my creepy little avatar up and run a muck in the Towns (that take forever to load, if at all), roleplay in Barton or buy a cool item or two.

I sincerely hope Lanzer reads through these posts, and hopefully notices this one, or any other responses to this new addition to Gaia. Though I can see a lot of work went into it, the graphics are fantastic, but I think the labor was in vein. Did the people of Gaia really want this?

I miss how Gaia started out - a little site based in a virtual world, a growing economy where Roleplayers like myself and others could come to get away from the world every now and then. I fear now it's turning into something else. I see advertisements everywhere. Of course Gaia needs to make money to stay alive, but in my opinion the Monthly Collectibles and various banners around the site, as well as new movies were more than enough. But then again I wouldn't really know. I dont work at Gaia.

All I know is that this thing sorta crossed my line. This is a little too much for me, and I fear gaia is going downhill and loosing it's culture to business partnerships.

I would have much rathered see some original Gaia city, or a desert land or a jungle or something original to Gaia. Not Hollywood.

Anyway..Thats my two cents on the topic.

I applaud and cheer you on. A lot of people are starting to ask if we can speak directly to a moderator to see if this can be undone.

90% of the fanbase of Gaia has no interest in ******** MTV. This is bullcrap, and I'm seriously going to boycott Gaia if that's what it takes to get them sane. I love Gaia to death, and for them to pull something like this??

I stopped buying collectables and such with real cash when they started shoving movies down our throats for chincy items, the cash gear I am wearing I bought with gold because I don't necessarily believe in directly supporting Gaia when it's becoming another intellectually devoid spot for Preenagers to gossip. The fanbase's IQ has been gradually dropping much like the age of the average Gaian. This is yet another reason i will not be buying cash from them.

So after watching the really crappy show, then talking with julie. I still have no prize. I waisted a good half an hour of my life. And mind you. I was told to talk to Tim in the club (who is by the way full of useless information, or lacking useful information) and he gives nothing as well.

Thank you MTV for once again showing me that you cannot live up to your name (Music Television) and you have once again added another show where people act like there is soooo much drama in their lives, when in reality. Its all a big fake. Gee, I cannot imagine why there are so many people running around in life with "Oh So Much Drama". Cant imagine where people learn this from!

I think this whole country needs to just grow up! Especially those who "lead" or are "role models".

And thank you Gaia for showing me that MTV is once again, one of the worst channels in existence.

It would be nice if it worked with dial-up. I live in a remote area where high speed is not available. I think it would be nice if Gaia would make a seperate server for this kind of thing for people who use dial up .

This is very disapointing. When I went to the MTV Hills-rally-like place i saw the pink Jumper- You can't get it- it leads you to this newcomers profile. scream
