This link is to a section of the movie Zeitgeist on religion. Mainly on Christianity giving facts for you to draw your own conclusions to. This movie is truly a must watch for everyone. It does not promote Christianity nor does it bash it. Merely facts. True facts.

Warning this may offend some Christians and possibly others as well.

What, did they rewrite it to include facts this time around?

What, did they rewrite it to include facts this time around?
Why should it given that so many already espouse it as truth without such things?

Zeitgeist makes me want to shake people until they either get some sense or the get brain hemorrhaging.

It's not true, it's not shocking, and if it amazing you, then you must be equally amazed by laser pointers and bells on string.

I can't speak for all felines, but I doubt my cats would be impressed by the movie. >.>

I tried to sit one of my three in front of it the other day. He yawned and walked off, sniffing at the rug instead of paying attention to the screen.

Zeitgeist: 0, Rug: 1.

It offends anyone with a passing knowledge of the other faiths mentioned, and people who value knowledge or truth. It's a conspiracy theory, one that is poorly researched and actively misrepresents pagan traditions in an attempt to make things look similar. The really sad part is that even if all the "facts" were actually true all it establishes is that various religion is similar and ask people to make a logical fallacy confusing correlations with causation in order to make its point.

In short: It's factually incorrect, and even if it wasn't then it would still fail.
Zeitgeist is more realistic than a majority of you believe. The problem is, since birth, the lot of you have been brainwashed. YOU ARE AFRAID OF THE TRUTH!

And what truth is that? Also how have you freed yourself from the "brainwashing"?
Either whoever put the mythology information together in that movie has no idea what they're talking about, or was outright lying. Either is entirely likely, since nearly everything they say about the deities in question is outright false.

You've done the research behind it?

So, if we disagree with you, even if we may have a bunch of sources and logicals rebuttals on our side, we're brainwashed?

I think that's an ad hominem fallacy, and one that qualifies you for the Tinfoil Hat Brigade. Congratulations, soldier! Now, you finally get to fight the secret shadow government and their invisible alien compatriots who control world finances!

I'd love you to prove any of those statements. Especially since only 2 (maybe 3) of the six people who posted above you knocking Zeitgeist are Christians. So they would have absolutely nothing to lose in the concept that Christianity is based SOLELY off other mythology, if that was indeed the case. However, they are intellectually honest people, whereas the makers of Zeitgeist are not.
