I've heard Wiccans refer to the Hidden children of the Goddess. And I was wondering if that meant more than they dont go looking for converts and freely teaching their ways.

I think in the original context in which it was used it referred to Wicca being an ancient religion that had gone underground for centuries. Or something.

I've heard that too, but I've also seen in recent history (don't ask me when) Scorplett or Morgandria referd to them selves as the Hidden children of the Goddess which is why I was asking.

I've seen many people use the term "Hidden Children" to refer to Wiccans, or to Pagans in general, due to the whole keeping their faith and practices a secret thing. Which is understandable.

As for the whole "Wicca going underground for centuries" thing...Well...No offense meant, but that just makes no sense whatsoever.

I didn't say it was true wink But at the time everyone was into the whole Margaret Murray "The Witches' God", "Wicca is the Olde Religion" sort of thing.

I guess they never bother to follow the link. stare
