*sighs* Why did you walk away? Just because you thought you could do it all yourself?
How about I tell you why
I walked away? I realized that I don't believe in only ONE god, and in fact believe that there are multitude of entities that can be called gods. I also believe some of these are worthy of worship. Some of them I don't feel are worthy, but other people do. And I'm not going to fault them their choice in godform. I also won't blame anyone who chooses not to worship a godform.

God gave me life, I wasn't supposed to be alive, but I am. I've come close to death three times and each time was saved and I know God put those people there to save me, it was no coincidence.
Oddly, I halfway understand this thinking. I really don't believe in blind luck, as this universe functions to well on sound mathematical principles to be truly luck based. I've had experiences in which I was within inches of death, and I do attribute them to an entity or entities. But I didn't get told who and I won't say God ((I assume YHWH in this case.)) did it. Though YHWH might have.

God changes man, because whatever arguement I can use to prove you wrong will do nothing to change you. But if I pray for you and others do too, then God will soften the heart you turned to stone and you will find Him again.
I wish YHWH and His followers the best of luck in 'softening' my 'hard' heart.

The Golden Rule came from the Bible. It's a guideline for how to live down here. But we must also have a relationship with God to be fully whole. There will always be an emptiness in man that we will try to fill with pleasures and the what-not but all for nothing. Only God can fill that void. (I'm sure you'll deny this, but I'm also sure you feel it)
Actually, the golden rule popped up in various cultures world wide. It's a basic idea that has evolved into 'do to others what you would want them to do to you.'
As for the emptiness of man ((Which really belongs in a seperate paragraph as the Golden Rule says nothing about God or the emptiness of man.)) Prove it. I've felt more whole in a loving relationship than a relationship with God ever gave me.

Humans give up and fall down, they hav their limits. God can see you through to the end though. Where we give up once we know we have cancer or a disease and live with the thought that we can never be cured, God will heal and He will give you life again.
My own will can produce the same amazing health benefits that faith in god can produce. It's actually the faith that is most important, not the god. At least for secular health benefits. If you believe in the miracle part, well, nothing to say one way or the other as it can't be proven consistently, and it also can't be disproven.

I do need God, for everything. I'm weak, sinful, and full of wrong desires, but God keeps me from harm. Temptation is there, and I have the choice to fall or not, but God gives me the strength to deny those temptations.
Weak how? Sinful how? What wrong desires? Is there such a thing?
Look, I'm glad your FAITH in a god gives you strength to deny temptations to things YOU despise. But don't tell people that turning from YHWH is wrong because of YOUR opinion.
