First there was just God. Then he exploded. Now there is no God, but there is a universe.

The most interesting theory I've come across so far.

We don't have any examples of "true nothing" so it's hard enough to say anything about this universe not being here. Likewise we don't have any examples of one thing (like maybe a universe,) causing a new universe to originate, so again it's hard to say anything about it.

That said my suspicion is lots and lots of other universes. No special explanation for how it all fits together or what the ultimate origin of it all was, just a lot of stuff happening that we can't even begin to approach with our current understanding of existence.
