What Christians generally do and don't do

Me personally, I believe that swearing is somthing that should be avoided. Not that people who do so are bad, but I just personally don't like it. Pre marital Sex is actually mentioned in the bible somwhere ( can't remember at the moment where ) as a big no no but not everyone follows that these days. Heavy metal non christian music? there isn't anything wrong with it per say, but I just don't like it in particular lol. Very violent video games- I tend to avoid these but there are some I don't mind playing as long as the blood and gore is kept near non existent. But mostly I'm an RPG kinda guy and I'm not sure how other christians feel on major violence in games.
Thinking about sex is unfortunatly not easy to avoid especially in early teen and early 20's for men. Though try to keep your thoughts as clean as possable. As for the last two, those fall under the catigory of Sexual immorality in my opinion and should be avoided. Hope this helps.

I'm a non practicing catholic and I do ALL of those thing, save the premarital sex. Still a virgin...DAMN MY INTROVERTEDNESS!!! crying

But everybody sins. Its the lines that illegal sins form that most people (of any religion, I'll wager) won't cross.

Yes to all the above. And also no, depending on the person. Are we not supposed to do those kind of things? Being a Christian is not claiming perfection, it is professing imperfection. Because I am weak and imperfect I need to be saved by God's grace.

EDIT: The only one of those I don't do anymore is have sex. (I'm not actually married yet but engaged). I feel suuuper guilty about looking at porn and am trying to stop.

Some of those things are sinful, and some Christians do them. We're not all-perfect you know. Christians do "backslide". 3nodding We just do our best to avoid those things and pray for those who are struggling with them.

I'm sure everyone does, we're programmed to. But you must have self-control and try to keep your mind on non-sexual thoughts.
