This may be a difficult list for me to compile as facts since I do not exactly pry into what other people do in real life. This thread is made sorely for the topic's discussion's sake. I am not exactly sure what Christians generally do and don't do, what is right and what is wrong from the perspective of Christianity, so I shall list some possible related matters in question form. I may need some help on the following.

Do Christians
- generally
- some
- not many

engage in pre marital sex?
listen to non Christian heavy metal music?
masturbate?
play explicitly violent video games?
swear?
think about sex?
watch porn?

Are each of the above activities right or wrong from Christianity's perspective?

Note: Again, I shall stress I have no idea at all what most other Christians do and don't, what they feel about those stuffs mentioned, and what churches teach on them. You may see this as a simple survey to help understand Christians' general stance over various matters. Feel free to add new related topics if you have any more to add on to those I have mentioned.
I have a Christian friend who does all of those except watch porn, but that's only because it does nothing for her.

It depends on how you interpret the Bible and what parts of the Bible you think were time-specific and should no longer apply (eating shellfish being an example of such, since they could have been commonly undercooked). The sex-related points you bring up could fit under the idea of lust being a bad thing, but I do not think any other points are mentioned in the Bible. I have certainly found few Christians who have problems with such things in relation to the Bible; they tend not to like swearing or heavy metal simply due to finding them unpleasant rather than any moral issues.

Going from my own life and friends:

We don't have premarital sex. We love non Christian hardcore music. Some of us masturbate. Call of Duty and violent FPS games are popular. Usually avoid swearing. We think about sex (pretty much unavoidable being teenagers). Some watch porn, though not on a regular basis.
It's difficult to answer. We're people too. We do all of those things. I'd like to say that we do it less than other groups, but I doubt it.

Of course, I can only base my answers on the ones I actually know.

We don't usually engage in premarital, but it happens. My mother was Christian when she got pregnant with me at 14. I did it once before I converted about three years ago. We aren't supposed to do it.

I don't listen to Christian heavy metal, nor do I know any Christians who do. The whole genre seems silly to me. It's great that they make it, I guess, but you won't catch it on my hard drive.

Yeah, quite a bit. I struggle with it, and I'm sure some of the others do. I never asked though. It's embarrassing.

Yes. I don't believe God ever said anything against violence entirely. Murder and such, yes, but not violence itself like He did lying or taking his name in vain.

I do. I shouldn't, but I do. I try not to, but after a while in the military, it's hard to not drop an f bomb whenever someone screws up or almost gets me killed by general idiocy.

All the time. Like I said, we're human. I have the benefit of being married, so I can, within limits. I can't lust after other women, but my own wife is fair game.

Yes, but again, we probably shouldn't.

They aren't all right or wrong. Sometimes it depends on context, a good example of which being me and my wife thinking about sex with each other.
Christianity is really just a 'pick and mix', start with one flavor and ten minutes later there are as many variations as there are people in the world.
listen to non Christian heavy metal music?

wat

listen to non Christian heavy metal music?

wat

I took my high school health class online. It was text-based.

The section on psychedelics mentioned hard rock's sinister rhythms mimicking the effects of the drugs.

I really don't know what's up with these people.

Here's what you don't understand here. People pick and choose with their religions. That's why you hear of some Muslims murdering their daughters in "honor killings" and some Christians being assholes in general.

The points of engagement of pre-marital sex, masturbation, swearing, thinking about sex, and consumption of pornography are all points that the church I attend has explicitly argued against as non-Christian. The rest has never been discussed or brought up, so I don't know. I don't know if they are followed or not, and I'm not Christian so I couldn't even give my own view or experience. The church is a non-denominational evangelical church, if that helps any.

Edit: Man are they obsessed about sex, to think about it.
I'm a Christian. (:

engage in pre marital sex?
Nah, not my thing.
listen to non Christian heavy metal music?
I could, but I prefer pop music.
masturbate?
Not often, tbh.
play explicitly violent video games?
Nah, those are boring.
swear?
This isn't related to Christianity. Some people can pull of swearing, and some can't. Personally, I think I'm the type of person who would look like a blockhead when swearing.
think about sex?
Yes, everyone does.
watch porn?
No.

How isn't it realted to Christianity?

The Bible is explicit in telling you to not use any language that is not edifying, or could offend another.
