You still have to present a case for your claim. God spoke scientific truth, you say? I, at least, want you to elaborate on that statement. I'm not aware of any scientific discipline that arose through direct divine intervention.

The Big Bang - a spontaneous explosion creating everything.
The Bible's version - God spoke everything into existence.
Genesis 1:1

The Big Bang isn't an explosion, but an expansion of space-time. Even then, it doesn't gel with Genesis 1:1, since it wasn't a spoken event, and it wasn't generated from nothing.

Quote:
It's scientific fact that the earth was covered in a lot of water. (And this water was red because of iron in it).
Genesis 1:2

Genesis 1:2 doesn't mention water in terms of how much of the Earth was covered by it.

Quote:
The Cambrian Explosion - Massive amounts of fossils in the fossil layer shows the sudden existence of sea life
The Bible's version - God created the seas and made them teem with life.
Genesis 1:20

The Cambrian Explosion saw the emergence of most major groups of complex animals, not merely sea life. This also contradicts known observations in the fossil record, with sea sponges appearing long before the Cambrian period.

Quote:
Science - 575 million years ago, there was also the sudden existence of fully formed animals - no transitional species like Darwin suggested. No proof of macro evolution.
The Bible's Version - God created the animals that walk the earth.
Genesis 1:24

You're just lying now, and my thread shows how wrong your statements are.

(Give me some time with this one and I'll PM the scripture reference to you.)

You do realize that's through interpretation of the facts that have been proven after the fact. Before the discovery of these facts, the Bible did not give these ideas to the people. Such explanations could also be given by different mythology.

Also, there is proof of "macro evolution" as well as "evolution" in general.

So you're telling me that if someone right now said something that was scientifically mindblowing that people just shrugged it off was to come up in a discussion 2500 years in the future, that scientifically mindblowing comment would not be credible.

WTF? I'm not opposed to people believing in God; I'm opposed to people twisting evidence to suit their needs. You even claim that no transitional fossils exist, which you wouldn't say at all if you knew anything about the fossil record.

It was stated that it is usually religiously bent not that it necessarily is bent that way. Anyway, I think it's facts that people do not want to accept evolution for whatever idea that they are opposed to evolution.

No, I am not saying that. What I am saying is that me saying something rather vague which is revisited thousands of years later and reexamined does not mean that I started whatever was found. If I said something profound, it could've been simply chance or through rudimentary ideas of the world rather than scientific fact. (For all we know, I could've been suffering from psychosis and simply spouted nonsense that could be construed later as me stating a scientific fact.)
