I went on a rant and initially posted this in the chatterbox but thought I'd give some legitimate effort on here.
Ever since I was introduced to alternative paths of paganism 7ish years ago, I went up hill and down hill, and learned many things....Several years ago a girl on this site basically shot me in the foot on everything I thought to be true. At the time I had no idea what a fluffy bunny was, but i had always wished I had someone to help me when I was studying instead of being insulted and starting at ground 0.
So those of you who are new to pathworking, good for you! I suggest you ask lots of questions. It can only do you good.
Those who have been doing this a while, remember to help those who are new and answer their questions. If you can't answer then inform them of that and go find the answer, because we are always learning.
I would like to see the pagan community continue to grow more knowledgeable and more respectable towards one another. As it stands now, what divides many of us is the many paths people take and trying to learn to work with one another when several strong voices want to smother the faiths of the weak.
In college now, because of drama of the previous pagan organization I broke off with my now best friend and started anew. I've learned many things since I started leading, and that is patience is a virtue and great benefits can be reaped if one person isn't leading the show and we are all working together in our pathworking. I hope more teachers come forth from tactics like this so boys and girls going through adolescence get help in person when everyone else in their life oppresses them.
FOR THOSE WHO DIDN'T READ ALL EVERYTHING BEFORE THIS:
What do you think we should do to help the pagan youth of the future?
