Regarding a degree of ministry according to women; the Bible contains many accounts of women in places of authority in varying lengths. If anyone disagrees, I can provide a list of many (being throughout the O.T. and the N.T.).

Ad.min can suck my balls linaloki I would make the point that just because the Catholic Church put it in the Bible doesn't make it God's Word, but you would say "Yes it does!" and never listen, thusly it's moot. Most mainstream Protestants, if not all, will also agree that said verse is "God breathed." Not to say that this proves that it is in fact "God breathed" or whatever dumb term you wanna use. I am merely saying that it's not an issue for most Christians. To paraphrase Paul, "In my words, not God's, yadda yadda." He puts this in a LOT of his letters. However, he actually did say it in... 1 Corinthians 7:10, he specifies the Lord - "To the married I give this command (not I, but the Lord):" But in 1 Corinthians 7:12, he says "To the rest I say this (I, not the Lord):". |
