They can choose to ACCEPT it at some point in time in their life, or deny it, but I think you are born gay/bi/etc. Because I know I didn't just wake up one day and go, "Well, hmm, I am gonna be pansexual today." And none of my other non-hetero friends did either. They say they "just were."

Just because it's not consciously chosen doesn't mean it's inborn.

This is a tough question. Personally, I think it is a sin, just like murder or stealing or adultery is a sin. But just because someone is gay doesn't mean that they are going to hell. A Christian who struggles with alcoholism, is no different from a Christian who has trouble overcoming a drug addiction, or a Christian who is gay. Every person has something in their life that they struggle to overcome. Certain people are just more prone to have difficulties with specific things. Some scientists are now speculating that such things as alcoholism, sexual tendencies, and violence, are related to a person's genes. However, DNA can't be an excuse for our actions. Just because something is encoded in our DNA that gives us certain tendencies, we have the option to act on those tendencies or to not.

For example, I have a friend who is saved, but he has sexual preferences for the male gender. He struggles with this all the time because he knows that it goes against what God says. He is trying to overcome it just like someone who is trying to overcome their violent tendencies. Just because someone is gay doesn't mean that they automatically go to hell, as long as they are saved. God knows that we all have our faults and knows that we struggle with sin daily. Like you said, a person who is gay is no greater a sinner than a compulsive lair.

I checked with a few sources, and no one in any valid tradition has heard of a coven being disbanded because of explosives in their mailbox.

Your really going to have to provide tradition and lineage, 'cause so far the evidence is stacked against you.

You are either not in fact Wiccan or you are a liar.
There was one coven in America who were shot at, but that was before you were born!

On top of that, very bad form to loose touch with your coven when they face a crisis. Tut tut.. doesn't much sound like supportive behavior in the vein of defending and protecting to me!

More to the point, I suspect that he isn't even Wiccan. I've become quite skeptical of that claim in particular.

Especially if his first claim is that he's Gay. Aren't there certain rites you are required to perform for your Coven to qualify as a Wiccan?

Being Gay in and of itself is not a barrier to Wiccan initiation. It's up to the individual to prove their proper personhood and ability to be made properly prepared to undergo initiation. So, just like any other candidate, the same criteria apply.

Just for the record, effeminate and sodomite do not neccessarily equal gay men. Sodomite probably doesn't equal lesbian either. Except with a broom handle or a d***o.
