Unless it's a private school, fire her! Public displays of affection, regardless of sexual orientation, are often discouraged but this is just way over the line.

Late on this I know but mreh.

Yes, this is true but she only made this threat towards homosexual children. She made no such threat towards heterosexual students who participate in PDA. Public or private, she should be fired.

Then we are in total agreement, it is about time homosexuals get the equality, protection under the law and respect that ALL human beings deserve. I believe that free speech stops when a person uses their bigoted opinions to try an take away the rights of others.

this isn't just speech, it's a ruling, she has enacted a ruling at the school and thus it has become something she is doing rather than saying. She is no longer protected.

She threatened someone. You could get arrested for telling someone "IM GOING TO KILL YOU" because thats where the 'freedom of speech' is taken away. Once you become a threat to someones civil liberty your freedom of speech is no longer freedom. Dunno if that makes sense to you but oh well.

The reason threatening someone is against the law is because it is a treat to perform an act against another person that is also illegal (for instance, threatening to murder someone will put you in jail, but threatening to fire someone if they do not "fulfill your lustful desires" will merely get you fired yourself). If the action being threatened is not a jail-able offense, then you cannot jail here. The action is a fire-able offense, she should be fired.
