None of this addresses why homosexuals shouldn't be allowed to marry.

Hmmm interesting; why didn’t you say so? We just belong to different kinds.
End of discussion!

Really? That's it?

If everyone followed Church teaching, AIDS would not be spread.

Because as we know, married men/women never spread STD's to their partner.

So who is eviI? I don't like this word; Who is a sick sinner?

By your church's definition, me, but again why should I care when I reject your church and hjave nothing to do with it?

He still hasn't gotten it that not all of us are Christians, let alone Christians that recognize or follow the authority of the Roman Catholic Church.

Homosexuality is a sin because it completely goes against the balance of two genders (either by God or by nature, whatever comes into mind).

Gender=/=sex, and there are many cultures who have more than two genders

It's amazing how people can use their holy book to justify any action/viewpoint they want. During the Middle Ages, Europeans used the Bible as an excuse to burn Jews alive (and steal their money and worldly goods). Ditto for the conquistadors. And yes, not all of us on this thread are Christian. If you want to know what I follow, look at my sig. And what most people overlook is that Christianity started as an apocalyptical sect of Judaism. And did Jesus ever say anything about homosexuals? I'm not asking what any of his disciples said. I'm saying, take a look at what he said.

I did, and get the satirical nature of your post, it doesn't change my opinion on using gender instead of sex

Granted. However, it is banned.

Again, I ask, what part of marriage is natural? What part of it definition precludes same-sex marriage?

Every human being is called to receive a gift of divine sonship, to become a child of God by grace. However, to receive this gift, we must reject sin, including homosexual behavior—that is, acts intended to arouse or stimulate a sexual response regarding a person of the same sex. The Catholic Church teaches that such acts are always violations of divine and natural law.

Homosexual desires, however, are not in themselves sinful. People are subject to a wide variety of sinful desires over which they have little direct control, but these do not become sinful until a person acts upon them, either by acting out the desire or by encouraging the desire and deliberately engaging in fantasies about acting it out. People tempted by homosexual desires, like people tempted by improper heterosexual desires, are not sinning until they act upon those desires in some manner.

I have to go now.

Ok, so, I was asking about natural law.... this is about divine law.... I want answers about NATURAL law.... As a Hindu, why should I care what the Catholic Church teaches?
Some people think that all other people should obey their vision of the Divine and their rules. It's a monotheistic thing.
