I'm Catholic and there's a gay marriage debate at my school tomorrow. I'm for it.
I know, apparently there's somewhere in the bible that says its wrong, but I really don't understand all the fuss. People were born that way. God made them that way. I mean, if we're god's children, why would he let someone be born an "obomination"?
Also, if we do allow gay's to be married, aren't we doing the right thing? Gays will be together anyway and if we don't allow them marriage, they'll have sex before marriage.
For those of you who think its wrong, why?
(Btw lets all keep an open mind because I'm talking about this from a religious viewpoint. I don't want any idiots making fun of my religion, plz.)

I've been raised christian my whole life.
And what I've learned, being gay, bisexual, transexual or anything else of that sort if there even is, it is a sin.
But don't get me wrong, it isn't like I hate the person.
You should never hate the person for what they've done.
Just hate the sin.
And I'm not sure why god even allowed it, but if you think about it, it's like people going off and murdering, stealing, or anything else.
When it comes down to it it's a sin.
It's a choice.
It's a hard choice.
But one none the less.
We all have choices to make and their choices are to like the same gender and change their bodies.
But I don't think we have the right to ban people from gay marrige at the same time.
What I think is if they want to be together let them be.
But if you can always save them you should try.
