Why don't people say being in auto repair objectifies you, you only need your body in auto repair. Also feminists (especially at feministcurrent.com) they seem to think women only consent to sex if it's romantic sex & not paid so prostitution & porn must automatically be rape. Is'nt that generalizing about women? Also I've read a list of "Statistics about porn" & it seems so pessimist it's suspicious. It says conservative Utah has the most porn users, that porn is mostly watched while at work or at school, & that the average age to first see porn online is 11

You aren't wrong. The reason they act all weird about it is because they don't like it themselves. Its a selfish close minded view. Some people, men and women, do like to be objectified. Lesbian porn for example has sub-categories that could be called degrading(Objectifying). For example, Devastation, brutality and slave pornography are main porno categories. Those are made purely for objectifying a person and that's not a bad thing. Can you really objectify the willing.

Because society teaches men that women exist as sex objects. Men do not exist as sex objects. This does not mean men cannot be sexy or whatever, but no one (or very few) people look at a man, listen to their intellectual ideas or performances, and then say, "Man, that was an ugly suit." "He really should shave better." etc..

Whereas a woman presenting things will be shamed for not dressing well, or have her presentation critiqued solely upon her physical appearance.

Utah is super sexually repressed. The only way to manage in that environment is to do it in secret or on your own. On your own is much easier.
