How many times should DJ Helsing be shot with a nerf gun on live television?

We should allow him a dignified parting, as it will be a deadly humiliation. We should handle this in the most gentlemanly, effective, and thorough way possible. Two shots to the chest, one to the head; a total of three shots in perfect, rapid succession (which takes skill).
