Tenpac undying... Yeesh!

I'm fighting a Tenpac @ Cortex Shell, got it down to 4, did it 147 damage & instead of it dying like it's supposed to it healed 200 points, got it down to 8, did PLENTY enough damage to kill it & guess what I'm STILL fighting it even though it's at 0 hp. It finally died but what the heck, shouldn't I have won the 1st time I got it down below 0 hp?

It's healing shield kept it alive. Once the status ended, you were able to kill it.

Actually after it ended it applied it again & it was at 0 hp at the time.
