Really Annoying Problem

So I've got Paul's health down to 4 and I'm trying to finally catch him for once because I always end up defeating him, so I just attack, he's got 4 hp left, and I wait for the button that says "catch". Nothing. So what? Do I just have to defeat him and start all over, praying the "catch" button will stinking appear when I need it? This has happened to me a ton with other moga too, where I have to defeat them because the stupid the "catch" button doesn't show up. I vote the monster galaxy people just completely get rid of the thing that says "your turn" and just have it be "Catch" all the time so this doesn't happen. GRR I'm so mad!

Did you switch into a different monster for the catch? If you do that, you have to take an action before it will let you catch. Note that this includes defensive/non-attack moves.
