Question: What's with the chest?

Occasionally when I go to monster galaxy a chest appears with a timer underneath. I assumed that I was supposed to click it. However clicking it has done nothing at all.

What is this chest? What does it do?!

I'd really appreciate it if someone could tell me about this. : -)

you used to be able to open it up and you have to pay, its either 10 or 15mg and its chance, it has been disabled while all them galactic spins are in the shop.
you could either get double xp, potions, coffees or a moga out of it. but not a galactics, they are usually rare-super rare or maybe less.
