Confuse always crash?

I'm not sure if this is only me, but when ever I use confuse, or the enemy uses confuse, I seem to have a hard time loading...
and also, I have yet to see enemy lose turns during a confuse, but I have lost many turns... is this some kind of glitch???

I said Confuse is based on random generator. My Huey got struck by Confuse and it didn't work until the last turn it took its effect.

I got the same problem. I always have to restart the game.
