yes, another example is that I captured trollo at trollworthybridge instead of in the forest because in the forest, the level was too low. I always killed it rofl

I also have been wasting my time at Gertrude's. I have never encountered a pudgy in all the time I have been playing so I do not even know what I am looking for. All I had to go on was Nova's directive that they can be found at Gertrude's.

Just go to Darkwood Vault & play until you get a fat brown & cream bird with a weird expression in its eyes with like 3 seeds over the beak that's Pudgy.

Good news. You can hunt down Pudgy in Spiral Road and not Gertrude's House.

Yeah, I found Pudgy at Spiral Path, Spiral Road and Northside. Each time was a level 8. Hope this helps!
