It's a trend with facebook games although apparently there's a way to play it on Gaia? Idk but yeah, all browser games are like that now. Taking a page from Zynga and free to play mmo's.

Not really, If they sorted the neighbour thing out it would be easier for people.
You would be stupid to pay, once you have the mogas you want thats it, all you can do is level up.
