Well its depends on your stats...
level 16 you say? Try culverts...
Lets see... either you walk or warp to prontera
Then you sign up on the chivalry.. thats like
NW of the map.. They'll teleport you to culverts.
Save in that kafra. U can level on tarous and theif bugs their
and the occasional familiars. I guarantee you culvert's
experience points are good 'til level 30.
Easy kill = Faster exp... just as lng as they dont give too

i leveled a pure int dex merchant there till level 40 sumthing..
