my friend has ~1100 wins. not sure of the exact number.
most times i play with him he goes mid.
and ALWAYS rushes Cooldown reduction.
he does no damage in teamfights and then complains that he can't kill people and that he dies too much.
so i say hey.
yaknow you should build like full AP dorans deathcap ETC! you'll do more damage and contribute more. and get more kills.
but he absolutely refused to saying CDR is better because more skill's = more damage.
what do?
Do the math for him. Calculate how much damage he would deal if he had 200 AP vs. How much he would deal with only 40% CDR (which is the cap)
If he's been playing that long and he's that bad, he probably shouldn't be playing anymore.
well he's one of them beta players that seems to be stuck in past build's/strategy's
and just refuses to hear me out lol.
even though i went mid one game as zigg's went ap out the a** and just did helluh damage
he even said a couple times about how hard i hit.
i mentioned it was because i went full AP
then next game came he went mid.
rushed CDR.
