Starting Out;
Purchasing your entry pass! // To enter the Poképark, you must pay a small fee of 5OO gold pieces. Your pass will then be sent to you via Private Message, and you're free to enter the Poképark! You will have access to all five of the park's zones if you meet the requirements for each particular zone.
Choosing your starter Pokémon! // Once you have entered the Poképark, you will be asked to select your starter Pokémon! You may select any of the starter Pokémon: Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, Chikorita, Cyndaquil, Totodile, Treecko, Torchic, Mudkip, Turtwig, Chimchar, Piplup, or Pikachu. (To have Pikachu as your starter, you must pay an additional 1OO gold pieces.) Remember, you may only choose one, so pick wisely!
Choosing a place to stay! // Naturally, the Poképark will provide shelter for you and your Pokémon. You may choose to stay in any of our inns, or if you're feeling adventurous, you can camp out in the open--but be careful! Wild Pokémon will appear and attack you if you're not careful. Inns cost 1OO gold pieces to stay in, and an additional 5O gold pieces for each extra room. See more information in the Housing post.

Catching and Raising Pokémon;
Raising your Pokémon! // You will need to take care of your Pokémon as if they were your own children. You're required to make sure they get food, water, exercise, and plenty of love. When you first receive your starter Pokémon, they will be inside an egg. In order to hatch an egg, you must make 2O posts in this thread. Once your Pokémon is hatched, you're ready to start training! To train your Pokémon, select which move you want to work on, and simply post! Different moves will take different amounts of posts to master, so look at the Moves and Attacks post for more information. The Store provides plenty of supplies you will need to take care of your Pokémon. What do you do if your Pokémon gets sick or is KO'd in battle? Well, take it to the Pokémon Center, of course! In one day, your Pokémon will be fully revived and regenerated.
Leveling a Pokémon! // Once your egg is hatched, you will be able to level up your Pokémon. It starts at level O, and when you make 1O posts in this thread, you will bring your Pokémon to level 1. To get to level 2, you must make 2O additional posts. For level 3, you must make 3O additional posts, and so on. Remember, when you level up your Pokémon, your post count resets to O. When your Pokémon is ready to evolve, use a evolution stone, or what ever your Pokémon needs to evolve. Then the cycle continues. When your Pokémon reaches level 1OO, the Pokémon will refund ALL of your gold pieces you spent since entering the Poképark as a reward!
Catching a Pokémon! // There are only two ways to obtain a new Pokémon: either catch it yourself or pay for it if it happens to be in the shop. When I make a post or an announcement regarding catching a specific Pokémon, just follow the rules and regulations I include in the post and you'll have a chance of catching one! If you would rather buy one, it's a much more rare chance. If a Pokémon appears in the Shop, it will only be for a limited time and they can be expensive!

Contests! // Yup! The Poképark will sometimes hold contests in which you can earn LOTS of gold pieces! See the Contests post for more details.

Buying a Home! // To purchase a home, please send city of Iove 1OO gold pieces! If you would like to purchase additional rooms, it will cost 5O gold pieces for each room. When you purchase a home, you get a small, one roomed house that is good for cozy-living. It has all what you need: a stove and refrigerator, a couple chairs and television, a bed, and a bathroom that is boxed off in a small corner with walls around it. Max capacity for a house of this size is 2, which would be enough for you and your starter Pokémon. Please note that if you do not have enough room in your house, all of your Pokémon you catch will not be able to stay with you until you upgrade!
