Quick Rules

1. If you have a real concern with a thread or something else, don't just PM one of the mods in this thread - we may not be online. Go to the bottom of the main forum page, and PM an online moderator. That is most important!

2. Do not PM us asking about art, our shops that we link here or anything else about this shop. We have to have our inboxes free for real concerns. Post here in the thread - there's at least 15 mods frequenting this place - we'll catch your question, and likely answer.

3. Don't flame the people who ask 'stupid questions'. ^^;; We're pretty used to it, and it's not a big problem if they overlooked the FAQ. If you know the answer, and you're not a moderator, feel free to answer, as long as you're nice about it.


Mini FAQ

Q. Can *insert name of mod* draw me something? Like right now? Like for gold?

A. Hold on - we're very busy people, so this is 'auction central' for the art-inclined moderators. Some of us have links in our sections to our minishops - so you might be able to 'get' our art right away, but the rule of thumb is, don't bet on it. We try and give notice of our auctions so you can be certain when our art is coming up.

Q. How much does art by *insert mod name here* cost?

A. DO NOT PM the mod in question. Check their listing. Note some mods are sharing posts, so make sure and scroll down to be certain you've seen the right amount. Note if they have the word 'autobuy' that means if you enter an auction with that much, you can bid that much and automatically win.

Q. What if I have the moderator's autobuy now? Can I buy now?

A. Probably NOT. Do not PM them asking about it. Post here and ask the question. Don't be surpised if the answer is no.

Q. Will auctions have a set format?

A. Probably NOT. Some of us are more experienced than others in this whole thing. Some of us may have long auctions. Some of us may have short auctions. Some many take items, others may not. It's up to the individual mod to set the format of their auctions.

Q. *Insert name of mod* hasn't had an auction in forever! Are they taking private offers!?

A. DO NOT PM the mod in question. The answer is no. If a moderator has a post here and doesn't auction anything for four months, that's their perogative. This is a place for us to have fun, and we don't want it to become a chore or a duty.

Q. Why do mods have different prices for their art? Is there any way I can get something from you guys for less?

A. It's possible - check out all the posts and minishops. Some mods have super-cheap stuff hidden in their minishops.

LANZRBUDDIEZTM started as a bit of a joke sweatdrop , Someone brought up that Lanzerpets would be wanted, and I made LANZRBUDDIEZTM as a joke, as if to say 'Oh really?'

Once upon a time, there was a website called Special Agent Miyuki-chan (Secretly in love with Special Agent Dale Cooper, but that's another story.) which housed my artwork. I'm trying to get back into the swing of drawing and thought about doing some avatar artworks to get me in the mood. I won't have a lot of spaces and I'll probally be slow but have patience with me. I DO NOT CG! I am terrible at it. I prefer to work with Sakura Micron pens and Watercolour. I also do coloured pencil sketches but don't have any scans.

These icons come in two sizes, 100x100 pixels (Livejournal) or 50x50 pixels (AIM). You can also use them for Gaia if you wish, it's really up to you. Normally I'll make an icons with your avatar on it, but I can use anime pictures.
If you order an icon I need to know:
a) which size- Livejournal or AIM?
b) am I using your avatar, an anime pic or an original picture
c) colour for backround/writting
d) other details of what you might want.

Avatar Edits
No, I don't draw new clothing on your avatar (normally). I'm not that good at it honestly ^^; But what I do rather is dress your avatar in clothes that you don't have. Want your avatar to have a bear hat, no problem I can do that. I can also play around with the Gaian clothing, I can make a round top a v-neck or I can lengthen a top that's too short.
While I don't normally make new clothing/jewelery I can attempt to, but this is normally a rather lengthy process and the results are not always the best.
If you wish to place an order for an avatar edit I want you to describe in as much detail as possible what you want me to do, which clothes you want, if you want me to change something ect... What I need form you is a pic of you avatar without clothes OR with the clothes you want me to keep.

Price: 500-1000 gold, based on difficulty, I'll give you a price once I get a description.

Well ... I'm trying my hand at Gaia art for more than just my friends. Currently I'm working my a** off on a school project, so once I'm done with that I'll probably be auctioning off bits and pieces of the comic I'm working on. Once that happeds, then I'll get back to this. Until then:

Autobuy: depends on the piece of work. Will update as I auction off pieces.

Start Bid: 500 gold for sketches; 1000 gold for inked work; 1500 gold for colored pieces.

Don't bother asking. If you want a custom picture by me, then you will have to pay me real money to do that. I draw to enjoy myself and my free time, and I don't find drawing requests relaxing. If you want to have a picture of your avatar or whatever then I suggest finding someone else who wants to draw it to do it. wink
arrow Okay..then what are you selling??: I'm selling my CGs, oekakis, and sketches. You can use them on your website, blog, or sig. More details about use later.
arrow How do you price things???: According to quality, time spent, and any other factor similar to that.

CG (Drawings done in Painter or Photoshop)
I put a lot of time and effort into my CGs. They will only be available for auction. Depending on what the work is, how big it is, how much time I put in it, etc will determine the starting price. I will probably auction one drawing off every week or two. Auctions will run for at least 48 hours, and the highest bidder wins.

The highest winner gets:
-The CG in it's orginal size
-A websized CG (.JPG or .PNG format)

I WILL NOT:
-Edit the CG content in anyway. For example, if the guy has red hair and you want green hair..it's not going to be altered. Also, I will not tolerate my works being altered. If I find it altered so it seems that the bidder drew it or the content is altered (things added to it, coloring and lines changed) I will request that you remove it, and I will not refund your money. I find that incrediblely rude and will cease all future auctions if that happens. I don't want my works altered like that.

Oekaki (works drawn in PaintBBS or ShiPainter)
I draw oekakis often. They usually have less effort and detail. They will just be flat sales becuase I don't think they are worth anyone's time for auction. Price will depend on content, time, effort, quality, detail, etc. If I do a fanart from something like Inuyasha/Card Captor Sakura/anything popular, I will sell it in a limit series (10 at the most, probably around 5), and no more.

If I catch anybody hosting directly from deviantart, I will delete the image from my gallery and issue an official warning. If you intend to post the image elsewhere, I will e-mail you a copy for personal use.
