I saw this really bad sci-fi movie over the weekend called District 9.

Sorry I haven't seen it. What was it about.

That plushie just screams "pay $4 for me, Catie!" XP

Jack looks kind of dull in the weekly comic. Maybe he'll make his return this Halloween.

Jack looks kind of dull in the weekly comic. Maybe he'll make his return this Halloween.

Not just that.. he looks horrible in the comic gonk what have they been feeding him? To be honest I don't think the plushie is that great.. I'm definately not going to pay 50k+ for it. Maybe I won't even feel like spending days and days on Gaia just for the Halloween event. The items seem to be getting harder to get with each event and only sellable for a lot if you're the first to obtain them.

Yes and Gaia has never done and will never do anything about it. Like selling above the storeprice can easily be solved by putting a cap on it: that items that are still available in normal npc shops can't be sold above their storeprice. Or that artificial inflation can't take place: that an item is not allowed to inflate 400% overnight. That the starting value can't be above 1 mill etc etc.

I've always supported the not selling above store price idea.

By the way, did I tell you I was learning to speak Japanese? I can tell you what to download if you want to learn it, too. It's not that hard.

Which course is that? The one I'm doing is Pimsleur's how to speak and understand essential Japanese, an audio course that has pauzes so you can repeat what they say.

I don't watch a lot of anime either, but it's still cool to learn to speak another language. Once I'm done with I might try French (which I never learned to speak properly) and Italian/German or something. Nice for holidays razz

Ehm let me see.. colloquial Japanese the complete course for beginners by H.D.B. Clarke and Motoko Hamamura xd Two audio casettes and 2 cd-roms. The Japanese language isn't really a musthave since we already speak English.. Spanish might come in handy.. or maybe Turkish/Maroccan in the Netherlands sweatdrop

I can't pick up my daily chance for some reason.. EDIT: Must be the PSP thing for Americans only rolleyes and I had some private messages that gives a hint for an upcoming event.

Actually I disagree. I like the German language.. and German English is smexy xd

Oh your costume reminds me of the good old days in the towns when 'noobs' didn't swarm around yet (noobs not meaning new people but people behaving very rudely, beggars and the like).

Wow, since District 9 is considered to be a blockbuster, i'll say it's far from being a bad movie. eek I can see why you wouldn't like it, but I think it's really good. It's consider by some as the best recent sci-fi movie. There's more to it then the simple explanation you gave for it as well. O.o

*shrugs* Some people think movies about aliens eating catfood and being sent to concentration camps are bad, some people think German isn't a pretty language. Of course everyone is entitled to their own opinion.
