Slots

Catie and Sirtaki have decided that it doesn't really pay off to make art for gold when gold has decreased in value this much. That is why currently there are no open slots. Sirtaki doesn't enjoy making Noodles that much anymore, you could try bribing her to make Doodles (avi/OC art) only.

Noodles

In forests and plains, right outside the places where people dwell, live the creatures we call Noodles. They live together in holes in the ground, whereof the entrances are impossible to find by us. They aren't magical creatures, but they are very intelligent and know that not all humans have good intentions. A Noodle looks something like this:

Once in a while though, a curious Noodle is drawn to the human world and wanders the backyards of the suburbs, and may even accidentally show itself! All depending on the particular person, the Noodle may drop its fear and befriend the human. The bond they develop can be very close and people who see them together often (wrongly) assume that the human owns the Noodle.

The language used by Noodles cannot be understood by people, but they are very expressive and understanding them is usually not very difficult. If multiple Noodles bond to the same person, they may become jealous of each other and act hostile, become good friends or even fall in love.

Request a Noodle

Sometimes people actively try to lure Noodles into their backyards, like we would do birds. Sirtaki is especially adept at luring a Noodle of a certain description. A custom animated pet costs 5k. For this you will get to pick the colors to use and you may request some lineart edits. If you want a Noodle that is a cosplay of a certain existing character, the price is 10k (it takes more time to make them). As Noodles are furry creatures, she always uses the hair color as "skin tone" so they don't look naked.

Noodle Adoption

This is the place to pick up poor, cold and lonely baby Noodles that we are trying to find loving owners.

We require a donation of 6k gold (3k for event Noodles) from new owners, so we know you have the means to provide for a Noodle. The Noodle Breeding post has some information about Noodle babies, be sure to read everything first! Also, for the reasons mentioned there, you can't adopt two siblings. If you want to adopt one, please use the following form:

Noodle Breeding

Noodles are breedable pets. They can only breed twice in their lifetime though, so think about it carefully! Here is how the breeding procedure works. First, the Noodles need some time alone together before deciding if they want to breed. It takes 8k to pay for an all-inclusive Noodle cruise that usually convinces them they want to have children through rigorous brainwashing.

Noodles are genderless so no-one really knows exactly how, but a while after they return from their trip, baby Noodles are born. A pair of Noodles may have up to 3 children at a time. By the time they are found they are usually old enough already to be separated from their parents. The siblings tend to fight a lot, so it's best to separate them. By this time you get to choose one to be your new pet, the others will be put up for adoption.

During the baby stage, a Noodle's distinguishable features haven't developed yet. It will look something like this:

Things you should know

heart Check if there's a free breeding slot before ordering!
heart Noodles can only breed 2 times, and have 1-3 children at a time.
heart Noodles are genderless, but you still need 2 adult Noodles to breed. There are two options:
1. You own both parents, everything is fine.
2. You want to breed your Noodle with someone else's. Have that person post their permission in the shop thread.
heart It may of course take a little while for the babies to actually be born!
heart Once the babies are born, you get to choose one to take care of, the others will be put up for adoption.
heart The baby stage will last for about 2 weeks.
heart Use the image URL we gave you! Otherwise it can't grow (actually it will but you just won't know)! Once you notice it has grown up, please host the image on your own server.

You can't order avatar art unless there is a free slot. Providing a reference picture is optional, but if your avatar changes a lot, please do (save your current avatar to a website like Photobucket for example). The avatar we draw doesn't have to be yours of course. For each additional character in the picture, add 5,000 gold. We reserve the right to leave out items at will. You may choose up to 3 items you absolutely don't want us to leave out ^^

AVATAR - THE LAST AIRBENDER - NOODLE EVENT

Alright! To celebrate our Avatar: The Last Airbender fandom, we decided to do a -big- Noodle event themed around it ^^ Let me explain why it's so great: first, you can adopt Noodle children that will likely grow up to be airbenders, waterbenders, earthbenders or firebenders. Preview:

The event is now over! There will be no more Avatar Noodles to adopt! You can still breed the Avatar Noodles you managed to get, though, and as long as the Avatar cycle isn't broken, children may still grow up to be the next Avatar! ^^

We hope you enjoyed the event!

(note that these are just snapshots of them, once adopted they will all be animated)

Now here comes the fun part: at some point in time, they will all grow up to their adult form. You will be able to see their bending animations then, and, one of them will randomly be selected to be the "Avatar". The Avatar will then be subsequently learning all the other elements in the order of the Avatar cycle, until all are known. Then, after a month or so, the new generation of benders will grow up, and a new Avatar will emerge. The next Avatar will be randomly chosen from the next nation according to the avatar cycle, and don't worry, the old one won't have to die first!

Alright! ^^ Here's how you can get your bender Noodles:

heart They are 3k, 3.5k if you want it to have custom colors
heart Post the order form
heart Send a trade with the correct amount to the shop mule Little Scorpius
heart Once it is accepted, confirm the trade
heart The trade will be accepted once your Noodle is ready
heart The Noodle code is sent to you over PM

Some details that might of importance

You need to pick unique names for your Noodles. No two Noodles can have the same name.

You need to use the URL we gave you, if you save the image somewhere else, we have no way to make it grow! Once it reaches the final stage, we'd like you to save it somewhere else though.

The file size of the blinking and bending animation is probably too large to fit in your sig, so we will also give be giving you the URL of one that does fit in your sig (with the bending but not the blinking animation) Unless you will not be putting it in your sig, in that case we'd appreciate if you told us! ^^

The event will end once the avatar cycle is broken. In order for that to ever happen, we will gradually bring down the number of adoptables available with every generation (there are no limits yet for the first generation). A way to prevent the event from ending is to breed your grown-up bending Noodles. It is a lot like breeding ordinary Noodles, but costs only 2.5k, and the child will grow along with the other event Noodles. If you breed two different types of benders together, the children will have one of those types, decided randomly. As with normal breeding, you choose to raise one of the children, the other ones will be put up for adoption. Noodles can breed up to 2 times.

To have something to look forward to again, the date on which all the Noodles of the new generation grow will be the 15th of every month! ^^
