I meant take a picture of the horse, she's pretty! <3
cat_blaugh but I think taking pictures while holding on for dear life would be interesting too... but how would I hold the camera in my mouth?
cat_razz
Mythos you don't hold with your calves you hold with your upper thighs to stay on. I'm guessing the different muscles that are held tense when you put your heels down and toes up help with that. Either that or it helps with trying to guide the horse. My friends horses are neck reined (means I should only have to gently pull the rein against the side of the neck to get the horse to turn.) but she's also had me put
one calf gently against the side of the horse to help move the horse in the direction I want the horse to go. (this only happens when the horse decides she doesn't want to be neck reined and decides to just stop.. pretty but stubborn horse.) Apparently its a trained cue thing. (horse=large dog) Of course I'm just learning so I probably give the poor horse lots of conflicting cues....

also how are you not overwhelmed by the fuzzies?
