I guess you just need to take enough to fulfill foreign language credits?
I wouldn't take a language for more than a year unless you really wanted to learn
about it in the first place or are majoring in some sort of linguistics related thing.

I kind of chose a rather unfortunate location on where to go to school. XD
But the school itself is nice and I do enjoy the classes/people there. For the most part.
