I personally prefer the smaller town feel... Suburbs are almost... too neat, or something. Ordered. My neihborhood is suitably eclectic and the houses are arranged how they were built. Which means... Somone had this wooded lot, and wanted a house, so they chose a corner and built their house. rolleyes

There is a bird in my yard that I have never seen before... It's very pretty. It's very sleek, and a kind of middle gray, with a lighter color gray on the tummy. it was eating off of the suet cake, and then it went to the ground and started picking seeds that feel from the bird feeder. It made a noise that sounded like... well... hm... either a cat or a baby crying. Kind of a "Caaaah!" only tonal instead of rough like a crow. I wish it would come back.
