There's not a ton more to the event, not as currently designed anyway. Lanzer wants to punch it up some at the last minute, but no: we're not treating it as a major event this year. There's no forum gameplay, there aren't a ton of great new items, and no story update other than a very small re-emergence of the Easter Bunny for this PM. Something else happens, but it's not as huge as some users have hyped it up to be.

This is a result of a number of things, mostly poor timing and a lack of resources. The response to it both internally and from users will probably mean that we will have much larger events later this year, but at this point it's too early to say what events are going to look like in 2008.

Well...this sucks. I mean, really. I doubt Fleep is lying - but after being told that there would be no St Patties Day event so that they could FOCUS on the Easter Event and not do it half-@$$ed and stuff and then I read this? X_x I've not seen Fleep lie or whatever about things intentionally before, so....

I'm still waiting just in case y'know with April Fools around the corner and stuff, but I'm kinda irritated that one of the "major events" that Gaia has yearly has been reduced to nothing in comparison.

I don't mind new stuff being added (quests, sponsers, cash shop) if they're going to keep up with the rest of Gaia (comics, updates, events, items etc)... So.

LOL Yeah. Honestly, I think all the complaint threads are more annoying than the lack of MAJOR event from Gaia. I mean, if people would just comment in the few threads there that they agree (or don't agree) with it'd help cut down on the massive amount of repeat threads and spam X_x I saw the SF and just had to resist saying anything. Regardless of my opinion on it, so many are going about it the wrong way.

And now with the 'chan hats. I don't think they're $2.oo worth because some of them are store Items, but the others are multipose - makes sense blah (though I did buy two - I still don't agree with the price xD Silly me, huh?). Everyone's in hoop'la over the MEMES that are 4Chans -- which aren't, they came from others before 4Chan anyways ~_~ On top of that, yes, because -everything- Gaia's released is 100% unique to Gaia in the first place... (Though, if someone did design something and copyright it or what not, then Gaia should credit AND they do when they know) *breaths* XD
