Lol, it's 'cuz of gold inflation and people's massive interest in pixel art that the prices need to be raised to avoid massive flood of orders and still get your end's worth, though I'd have to say they're a LOT cheaper than regular art. It's so hard to find good art that's cheap these days. A measly headshot is like, 100k+ for some shops. D:

&&I defend those 100k headshop shops! Some headshops are extremely beautiful... Hell, luc_iole is making her busts 10mil and I'm sure her slots will be filled in seconds. <:

&&I haven't been to Minishops for a while so I'm out of tune with prices + ordering a stuff. *u* I'd love to know any high quality pixelists willing to do bulk orders + couples though.

Lol, I guess I'm just different. It's just... not everyone has that much gold... and if I could do RL commissions, I would. ><
But one shop was like, 250k+ for a gradient headshot... and it's only about 150x150...
I would understand if it was bigger, super-detailed and animated. ><

Hmm, there could be a couple. Look here for some and if you like the quality, you can check out the shop for open slots/bribes. =)

&&that does sound a bit expensive. O: But it depends. Chikku art is worth at least 2mil for a doddle chibi. Some may call that overpriced.

And once you get into b&c pets... wooo. Those prices are crazy.XD

Those things are crazy hard to get. D:
I was lurking in one, think it was called audio pets or something. There was pokemon theme, and the only way to get one is through events. Always missed the active ones, and was SO CLOSE for a raffle. T.T (right below the winning person)

That's why I buy those tamogotchi pets. So much cheaper and easier to get. ><

But its silly. There are so many other ideas for dolls that no one does D: if they're all the same then its just weird, no one shows any creativity, I mean sure you can do dancing, but why do they all dance the same way too -_- there are lots of different ways to do dancing.

I usually don't like art trades though. I never finish them, sweatdrop

viva I don't mind high prices for art that's very good. But I do have a problem with paying high prices for s**t art. ): I'd rather have only a few peices of high quality art then a bunch of not good ones.

&&I heard a b&c shop auctioned it's last pet for 50mil. wink
