Q:. How can we obtain Villagers?
A:. There will be plenty of ways to get a Villager. Besides the standard Raffle/Flatsale/Auctions of B/C shops there will be Villagers given out by RP prompts, games, and plenty of other crazy ways for colorists to give away pets.

Q:. Will there be humans and animals?
A:. There will be one human, the Mayor, and the rest, NPCs and villagers will be animals.

Q:. Why isn’t –Insert Animal- an option as a base? When can that happen?
A:. We had to narrow down the choices so it’d be easier to successfully pick five bases. Later on we’ll vote on more bases and extend the options to all animals in the Animal Crossing universe.

Q:. Can we bring in a character from another shop?
A:. Sure! We'll have to change up their background to fit in this setting and you'll have to decide what kind of animal they'll be but otherwise feel free to bring over any kind of OCs.

Q:. Is RP required?
A:. Nope, not at all. RP gets you perks, such as more Bells to buy things and cheaper breedings, when they happen, but otherwise you don't have to RP.

Q:. Can I get a specific Villager from the game?
A:. No. In game characters, Villagers or NPCs, are off limits.

Q:. When can we start creating or changing our Villager's clothing?
A:. We plan on opening the boutique as soon as the Opening Event is finished!

There are no set genders for our Villagers.
Rather we have feminine poses left and masculine poses on the right.

Barton Town
This is the town proper! You'll find many quaint shops and plenty to do here. The small town seems to always be bustling with Villagers, day or night thanks to some nocturnal Villagers. The whole town circles the Square, making it a pretty prominent meeting area and the only logical place for important places like the Town Hall, The Roost Cafe, & Able Labelle Clothing Company. Outside of this circle of busy town buildings are where Villagers have set up their town living quarters and your Villager is welcome to join them!

The Square
As the center of town, The Square easily became the focal point of the town. There a fountain was erected and prominent shops found their shop fronts facing it in hopes of luring Villagers in to see their wares. A few benches scattered around the fountain and a sitting area outside of The Roost Cafe make it a place to settle in after shopping.

The Roost Cafe
This chain coffee shop has hit Barton Town! The new cafe brought an energetic vibe to the town that it was lacking. Feel free to stop in for a quiet drink, bring a date and enjoy the warm aroma together, or grab something to go as you shop the town.

Able Labelle Clothing Company
The Able sisters are finally branching out and have sent a cousin to town to try his hand at the clothing scene. This is where the newest trends will be coming out so be sure to pop in to see, try on, and buy!

The Library
Away from the crowded street of the square you will find the town's library. The place is comfortably furnished, practically begging for Villagers to stay and read for awhile especially with the massive amounts of books they have available.

The South Village

If town living isn't your thing, then you'll find yourself down south of town in the South Village. You wont find as many busy meeting places or shops, but if you're one for the outdoors and rural living this is where you may want to call home. The village itself is closely compact with a dotting of trees around its borders. A single dirt road heads north leading into Barton Town to make the trek into civilization easier.

The Lake

What better way to spend your day off than a day at the lake? Here Villagers can toss a pole in and fish, swim in the crystal clear water, or rent a boat and paddle away! There is also ample space to just lay out under the sun, toss a Frisbee, or have a picnic. This is the place to be for a day away.

The West Field

The West Fields are a beautiful, peaceful area that includes not only a quiet field that runs into a forest, but a garden with a pond. Villagers of all ages enjoy the peace that can be found here! Some fly kites or have picnics, while others stroll the gardens and watch the fish in the small fish pond (there is no swimming in this pond). There are a few mischievous Villagers who attempt to push the boundaries of the forest who end up with mysterious wounds. Watch out!

The East Bridge

Sometimes the lake just isn't the fishing spot for you. Sometimes you just want a quiet, slow moving river to toss your lure in. Well, the Bridge off to the east of Barton Town is rich with fish and never that crowded! It's also a beautiful place for a stroll to clear your head or get away from the business of Barton Town!

For pricing on Customs please check the guild here. Prices vary depending on a Villagers's complexity.

To see if any colorists Custom slots are open, please check the Colorists Shops. Any slot openings will also be announced in thread.

Can you hear the wind? Did you notice that shadow over there? Moving closer? Look up! It's a... Basket? Basket tied to balloons floating on the breeze? Better go catch it!

Ready to start a family? You've come to the right place! Here you will find the requirements that need to be fulfilled in order for your family to grow. It starts with a letter to the stork and ends with a floating basket sent right to your doorstep! What fun, right?

Breedings come in multiples forms: through customs, events, and free giveaways! The rules may be different with events so be sure to read those rules thoroughly and if any don't make sense with the ones you read here then feel free to PM a crew member and we will get everything cleared up for you. Otherwise, these rules will mostly cover those Breedings you apply for from our Colorist's Shops.

Genes

Every Villager has a species type. Even those that are cosplays or customs that have had their lines edited are still labeled as one Villager species or another. This is important because species genes don't mix. If a dog and a cat start a family they will be getting dog or cat babies. So be sure to remember your pet's species in order to apply for your breeding slot!

What does mix are special edit genes. If your Mama Cat has a a fluffy ear edits her Dog son could end up with it if it works on the lines. These will be determined by the colorist, of course, but the baby's species will be up to the RNG. So if you're not a big fan of a certain specie then don't breed with them because you could end up with a whole litter of them!

Flings

We are not against flings, but do like to have a reason for them. We are big fans of roleplaying and storyline, so when it comes to your flinging pair, give us a good story as to why! This will come up in the “Dear Mr. Stork” section of your breeding application. What you do with the pair after that is entirely up to you, but don't forget that this part of their life happened. It can't just get written off as a fluke since, you know, they wrote the letter and all!

Singles

If you're shy about asking someone to pair up with you or just like throwing things at chance then you can enter a single for its own special breeding! There are a few differences in this kind of breeding as compared to a two parent breeding: there is a lower number of possible babies, you get the chance of picking the other breed's species type, and colorists get to pick the additional genes (additional colors, edits, clothes, etc). So there is a bit of give or take in this type of breeding. Still, could be a lot of fun!

Rules/Explanation in a nutshell

- Your Villager must be an adult to breed!
- Your Villager must be an adult for 1 month to be eligible to breed.
- Once your Villager has had a litter it must wait 3 months before having another.
- Same gendered couples are also 100% eligible to breed without the need for member of the opposite gender.
- Litter sizes vary from 2 – 3 (Couples) or 1 – 2 (Singles) depending on the RNG.
- Regardless of how many offspring are produced each owner may only keep one, the other may be given/contested or returned to the shop/colorist to re home.
- A Roleplayed pair has a guaranteed 3rd offspring (if the RP was long enough to collect bells from).
- A Single can also gain an additional offspring from an RP. It has to be focused on them wanting to have a family, preparing for a family, or something that pertains to the topic. Like stated above, though, the owner is still only allowed to keep one offspring.
- Want to give a noob to the shop a pet from your breeding? That's a guaranteed 3rd offspring.

What does this mean?

Couples

This means if you come forward with no newb and no RP you have the chance of getting 2-3 babies from the breeding. Two for your pair to keep and one to give away. If you come forward with an RP of the pair in hand (it has to be new for each breeding) you're guaranteed 3 babies without rolling (again, two to keep and one to give away.) If you have no RP, but have a newbie to the shop you want to give a baby to (it's highly encouraged to give your newbie slot to someone already active in the thread or who you know will wanna stick around for the family!), that's a guaranteed 3rd (just be sure to add their name to the breeding form). If you come forward with a RP and a newb you get all four babies! Nice!

Singles

This means if you come forward with no newb and no RP you have the chance of getting 1-2 babies from the breeding. One for your Villager to keep and one to give away. If you come forward with an RP in hand (it has to be new for each breeding and focused on becoming a parent somehow- no random RPs your Villager is a part of) you're guaranteed 2 babies without rolling (again, one to keep and one to give away). If you have no RP, but have a newbie to the shop you want to give a baby to (it's highly encouraged to give your newbie slot to someone already active in the thread or who you know will wanna stick around for the family!), that's a guaranteed 2nd (just be sure to add their name to the breeding form). If you come forward with a RP and a newb you get all three babies! Nice!

You got it? Good! Then head on over to the Colorist's Shop to see who has their breeding slots open! Best of luck.
