The story was something I made on a whim because I found it interesting.
It has a ton of holes in it xD

In terms of mating, they have doll like joints and stuff, but that doesn't mean they can't-- wink
Males may be rare, but one male with a bunch of females can create quite a number of children.
I just chose to limit how many dolls others can make if I choose to release a male.
