Can you give me some pointers on how to make my pixel dolls look better? Whenever I give them to someone they say they look cute but I know that if it weren't for the base then they probably wouldn't think that.

Can you give me some pointers on how to make my pixel dolls look better? Whenever I give them to someone they say they look cute but I know that if it weren't for the base then they probably wouldn't think that.

Your dolls are cute!
Try blending the edges a little.
What program are you using?
To make my colors blend better, I use the push/soften/blend/or blur brushes.
Makes it less jagged. I do end up having to clean up the edges with the eraser, but it's worth it!
Makes the details more polished, if you know what I mean?
Try not to use solid color lines. Use gradients.
But if you are just using MSPaint,
then try hitting where the edges meet with a line of color just a few shades lighter or darker.
