Welcome to Gaia! ::

I like the band, and got to see them live a few days ago when they toured with Volbeat, Motorhead, and Megadeth. Was disapointed that they only got about 6 songs for their set and then they were off, though they didn't sound too far off from how they sound on their albums.

A lot of their older stuff is slower as someone mentioned, but there are a good number of songs that are rather faster paced. I also think they did a really good job covering "Enjoy the Silence" (Depece Mode song) and "Loosing My Religion" (R.E.M. song).
they were awesome until you liked them

My point is, whether you know of a band or not (and it's okay to not like a band) why is it people never have anything positive to say?

Because all the bands that you ask for people's opinions on are s**t?

I've listened to them since 2003 and I still love them, but I wish they would revisit their writing style from the In A Reverie album and Comalies. Their first album which is self titled was good considering they were a fledgling band, but their songs now, just have lost the emotion and creativity I recall. I do enjoy their new album but I can't seem to get fully into it.

i only like 2 songs and the one that Cristina did with Apocalyptica
Scabbia looks like she has herpes.
By the way, OP I'm sorry you married Dave Mustaine or by other means took on his name. He's a braindead shell of a man who makes strange religious choices and endorses ridiculous presidential candidates.
